Account Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Summary: Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers within their assigned sales territory. Account Executives will have a thorough understanding of the Company’s products, programs, and pricing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Be a subject matter expert on all loan products offered by the Company
  • Train their mortgage brokers on the loan packaging and submission requirements so that their loans are efficiently processed after submission
  • Be a subject matter expert on the underwriting requirements of each loan product, handling all pre-submission questions from their mortgage brokers
  • Understand the rate sheets and pricing for each loan product, handling pricing related questions from their mortgage brokers
  • Make sales presentations to new and existing mortgage brokers on the Company's products, pricing, and services
  • Be knowledgeable in the rate lock process and requirements, answering lock-related questions from their mortgage brokers
  • Have a thorough understanding of the processes required to successfully move a loan from submission to funding
  • Work closely with their assigned Account Manager to ensure there is excellent communication and problem resolution on all loans in their pipeline
  • Set monthly sales targets with a disciplined plan to achieve those targets
  • Conduct regular meetings, in person and by phone, with the mortgage brokers within their assigned territory
  • Attend sales meetings when requested to do so by their Sales Manager
  • Serve as a role model for peers and associates, acting in an ethical & professional manner in all respects
